During covid when a lot of Italians died the pictures in the news were of beautiful caskets and about the lifes lost in a very sensitive and nice way, which is great.

But

When the same thing happened in India, a deadly covid wave, the pictures weren't so sensitive, the foreign news channel showed dead bodies, burial sites and cremation grounds with no respect to the ones dead.

Very small thing of course but it shows the outlook of many in Western news publications.
